What's your favourite album?

Hi!

So I’m a huge fan of music (as most people are), but I’m looking to expand my knowledge on albums I may not know exist - call it personal development for when I can finally start working in the industry again.

If you’re comfortable, drop your top album or if you have a couple.

looking forward to it!

xoxo

Palomino - Trampled By Turtles (this is very folksy…not everyone’s taste)
Plans - Death Cab for Cutie
The Church of the Good Theif - Right Away, Great Captain!
The Eventually Home - Right Away, Great Captain! (Yes two from them…not sorry)
Veneer - José González
Till the Sun Turns Black - Ray LaMontagne

As a record collector, I can’t answer the question as framed. I can give you a few personal highlights of great new releases of the past 6 years, however:

Psychic Mirrors - Nature of Evil

Brian Ellis - Deep Clues

Moonchild - Voyager

Moon B - ii

Max Graef - Rivers of the Red Planet

Ratgrave - self titled

Comps (not really a proper album, but album length nonetheless):
Tokyo Nights - Female J-Pop Boogie Funk: 1981 To 1988

Discophilia Belgica:

David Haffner - Disco With A Feeling

Ned Doheny - Separate Oceans

Brazilian Disco Boogie Sounds 1978 - 1982

If you dig these, please support these artists and labels!
