Stealing ideas

Some accounts on Twitter are known for recreating other people’s tweets in order to get retweeted. How would we be able to stop this with V2?
Should there be a report feature that includes “this is a stolen idea”?

Wouldn’t that be abused?

well if it’s just reported it won’t actually cause any change until the staff do something about it

True but it can also be abused like the report system on Instagram

Well what do you suggest? I think it’s about time we look out for the smaller accounts.

I’d still go for the report system because even though it can be used against the wrong person sometimes, it does serve it’s purpose better than anything else besides deletion of an account or suspending.

Tbh sometimes it could be on accident, we won’t know for sure if they copied or not

What happens if I accidentally copy it, credit them, yes

What if there was a feature ,on the comments or something, that just let’s us add the original video with timestamp from the one that was stolen. That way the people can judge if it’s worthy to be called original or not, and if it was stolen then the people that watch the video can get a formal way to the original source.
