Sometimes I think brands see what the Wendy’s Twitter account is doing and think they can “roast” competitors. The only difference is Wendy’s only roasts others when people tweet at them and it isn’t in petty tear the competitors down way. They don’t just go out and start tweeting mean comments.
Not only that but Byte does have a chance at competing with TikTok. While TikTok has swooped in and gotten a firm hold on the Gen Z demographic, Byte is aiming more for the Millennial demographic, particularly people who have nostalgic feelings for Vine and grew up with it.
