I’m trying to upload a drawing video I made but the app I use exports them in MP4 format. Is this incompatible with byte? Or is this a bug?
So far I’ve uploaded three bytes in mp4 format, and all of them were encoded differently. If you don’t want to re-encode it on a computer or something, I suggest you try and upload it to your Instagram story (you can make one that’s visible only to close friends) and then save that story to your Camera Roll.
If instagram (or some other app that lets you upload, and then download your slightly processed video) doesn’t help, then I wonder what that mp4 your recording app produces really is.
Either that, or you just need better connection
Having the same issue, Android Q pixel 3a
I had the same problem and found that all MP4 videos without audio would be rejected. Adding a silent audio track (codec AAC) helped in my case and I was able to upload my file without issues afterwards. I used FFMPEG (doesn’t cost anything and works with both Mac and Win) to convert the file.
I noticed this as well! Seemed to work just fine when I added music to my file
