A potential way to monetize Byte is to streamline the individual merchandising process. My thought is that byte will play a major part in generating merch for individual byters, meaning byte will make an easy way to design merch and have this merch easily available on the byters account page. This merch will be ordered and shipped by byte. The profits would be split 60%-40%, with the creator getting the later percentage. This allows the creator to easily make and distribute their official merch, and helps keep Byte alive. This along with promoted bytes. The two things that we cannot have is banner ads and a “paid” version of the app. It would be optimal that no ads link outside of the app, and instead go to the company’s account page in app.
